How to read a DAMAC Lagoons unit code

Townhouse codes follow a consistent pattern. LTH, then the bedroom count, then a letter identifying the cluster, then E for an end unit or M for a middle unit. LTH-5H-E is a five bedroom end unit in Ibiza. LTH-4D-M is a four bedroom middle unit in Malta. LTH-4J-M is a four bedroom middle unit in Mykonos. LTH-4K-M is a four bedroom middle unit in Morocco.

Villa codes work differently. The trailing letter is still the cluster, but the middle segment is a product designation and not the bedroom count. LV-1000E and LV-1000K are the same roughly 25,000 sqft six bedroom villa product, built in Venice and in Morocco. LV-3B is a five bedroom villa in Costa Brava while LV-3C is a six bedroom villa in Nice, because the 3 refers to the product and not the bedrooms.

Portofino is the exception in the current set. Its DAMAC sheets use BL prefixed codes such as BL-3-M, BL-4-M, BL-5-E, BL-VD1 and BL-V75, rather than a trailing cluster letter on an LTH or LV stem.

Cluster letters confirmed so far: A Santorini, B Costa Brava, C Nice, D Malta, E Venice, G Monte Carlo, H Ibiza, J Mykonos, K Morocco. Santorini's LV3 and LV4 carry no cluster letter, which appears to be an exception in the earliest cluster. Portofino uses the BL prefix instead.

Naming trap on the type codes

The numeral in the type code is not the bedroom count. LV-3B is the 5 bedroom villa. LVD-1B is the 6 bedroom villa. Do not label them 3 bed and 1 bed. Townhouse codes follow LTH, then the bedroom count, then a cluster letter, then E for end or M for middle. Villa codes do not follow this pattern and the number in them is not the bedroom count, so always read the sheet title on a villa.

LTH-3B-M

A note on how the units are classified

The Dubai Land Department registry classifies most Costa Brava 1 townhouse stock as villa. The 2,229 sqft 4 bedroom unit appears in the Costa Brava 1 registry as a villa and in the Costa Brava 2 registry as a townhouse. The cause is now clear from the Santorini evidence: DAMAC's own floor plan documents label the same unit a townhouse in the sheet title and a villa in the drawing callout, and the registry inherits that inconsistency. Because of that, we publish Costa Brava 2 by bedroom count only, and a total unit count for Costa Brava 1. The unit types themselves come from DAMAC's own floor plans and cluster plan, which are unambiguous. Checked 6 September 2026. In this sample the 7 bedroom villa BUA is a constant 7,250 sqft while plots run from 8,357 to 14,273 sqft, so plot size is the main variable at this tier. Unit K106 is a 6 bedroom villa of 14,234 sqft on an 18,988 sqft plot, a single observed outlier rather than a type.

No. Both phases are sold out and were completed on 1 March 2026. Costa Brava trades on the resale market. Primary developer stock is not available.

1,049 across two phases. Costa Brava 1 has 555 units and Costa Brava 2 has 494.
What unit types were built in Costa Brava?
Seven types across 3 to 7 bedrooms: 3, 4 and 5 bedroom townhouses, and 5, 6 and 7 bedroom villas. The 7 bedroom villa is 7,250 sqft. The largest observed unit is a 6 bedroom villa of 14,234 sqft on an 18,988 sqft plot.
When was Costa Brava handed over?
Construction completed on 1 March 2026, roughly seven months after the target completion date of 29 July 2025. Construction started on 28 February 2022 and sales opened on 13 December 2021.
What was the Costa Brava payment plan?
15 percent deposit, 35 percent during construction and 50 percent on completion, across 13 milestones running to 30 months from the date of sale. There was no post handover plan. Resale purchases do not follow this schedule.
What do Costa Brava homes actually sell for?
1,496 registered sale transactions have been recorded, at an all time median of AED 1.95 million. Over the last 12 months there were 118 registered sales at a median of AED 2.80 million and AED 1,215 per sqft.
