Morocco Payment Plan at DAMAC Lagoons

The Morocco launch payment plan in full. 20 percent deposit, 60 percent in build and 20 percent on completion, with milestone triggers.

This was the launch payment plan for a cluster that is now sold out and still in construction. Resale purchases do not follow it.

20 percent deposit, 60 percent across construction and 20 percent on completion. Eleven instalments are tied to calendar dates running to 33 months, and three are tied to verified construction milestones at 70, 80 and 90 percent.

Morocco places 20 percent at completion. Costa Brava and Nice both placed 50 percent. Santorini placed 4 percent at completion with a further 30 percent spread over 24 months afterwards.

There is no post handover plan. 4 percent DLD is payable in addition to the initial deposit.

DAMAC's Morocco price sheet numbers the final row as the 17th instalment while listing 15 numbered instalments. The identically structured Ibiza sheet numbers that same final row as the 15th instalment, which confirms the Morocco numbering as a labelling error rather than missing rows. The percentages sum to 100, so the schedule is complete. See the identically structured Ibiza payment plan. Compare with the more milestone linked Monte Carlo payment plan.

Where Morocco stands today

Neither Morocco phase has completed. Morocco 1 is 76.94 percent built with expected completion on 30 April 2027, roughly 20 months after its 1 September 2025 target. Morocco 2 is 65.34 percent built with expected completion on 31 October 2027, roughly 26 months after the same target. Construction on both phases started on 29 August 2023.

The Morocco payment plan places 20 percent at completion, rather than the 50 percent used on the Costa Brava and Nice clusters. It also ties three instalments to verified construction milestones at 70, 80 and 90 percent completion rather than to calendar dates.

Our reading of two sourced figures: Reading the payment schedule against the reported construction progress, Morocco 1 at 76.94 percent has passed the 70 percent milestone and has not yet reached 80 percent. Morocco 2 at 65.34 percent has not yet reached the 70 percent milestone. The calendar linked instalments ran to 33 months from the 30 June 2023 sales start, which fell in around March 2026.
